Badges for ELT Playbook 1 now available

To encourage the users of ELT Playbook 1 to share their reflections on the tasks they have done, I thought it might be useful to offer badges you can use to prove what you’ve completed. Here are previews of all of the badges.

To get your personalised badge for any one section:

  • Complete all five tasks in a single section, for example ‘Back to Basics’.
  • Share your reflections on each task in whatever form(s) you choose and on whichever platform, for example as blogposts and videos shared via Twitter. Don’t forget to include the #eltplaybook hashtag on Twitter or Instagram, or to share it on the ELT Playbook group if you’re on facebook.
  • Tweet, Facebook or Instagram links to all five reflections in a single post on your social media of choice, or write a comment on this blogpost. Start with the phrase ‘Badge please!’ and include your full name as you’d like it to appear on the badge.
  • I’ll send you a personalised badge including your name and the date of issue. Feel free to share it on the social media of your choice, and to include it in CVs or on blogposts.
  • If you haven’t heard from me for a couple of weeks, please tag me again, as I’m a one-man-band and may miss your post! I’ll try to keep up as well as I can.

To get your personalised badge for the whole book:

  • Tweet, Facebook or Instagram links to all six badges with your name on in a single post on your social media of choice, or write a comment on this blogpost. Start with the phrase ‘Badge please!’ and include your full name as you’d like it to appear on the badge.
  • As above, I’ll send you a personalised badge including your name and the date of issue. Feel free to share it on the social media of your choice, and to include it in CVs or on blogposts.
  • If you haven’t heard from me for a couple of weeks, please tag me again, as I’m a one-man-band and may miss your post! I’ll try to keep up as well as I can.

I’d appreciate feedback on this feature as it’s entirely experimental!
